How long have you been knitting & how did you learn? Would you consider your skill level to be beginner, intermediate or advanced? I've been crocheting about 3 years. I taught myself from a book and the internet. I would say my skill level is inbetween intermediate and advanced.

Do you spin? Dye? I'm learning how to spin on a drop spindle ~ don't have much time for it with the kiddos.
What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your
buddy wants to make you a CD) I like most music, but I really enjoy music I can sing to, dance to or has a good beat. And yes I can play MP3s.
What’s your favorite color(s)? Any colors you just can’t stand? I enjoy all colors as long as they are not neon or pastel.
What is your family situation? I'm getting married July 30th of this year. FDH is 25, I have a 5 y/o son and a 2 y/o daughter. Along with a new cat, and 1 y/o dog.
Do you have any pets? Are you allergic to any pets? 1 long hair cat and 1 dog.
Do you wear scarves, hats, mittens or ponchos? Hats in the winter time.
What is/are your favorite item/s to knit? I like to crochet just about everything except for wearable items ~ they scare me as of yet. I really do mainly small things that get done quick but I also enjoy making afghans.
What is on your needles right now? I have my wedding shawl, a washcloth, and an afghan on the hooks right now.
Do you read knitting books? What kind of books i.e. technique, pattern, fiction? I buy an occasional magazine but that's it really.
Do you like to receive handmade gifts? If I didn't I wouldn't have joined the swap. Hand made is AWESOME!
Do you prefer straight or circular needles? Bamboo, aluminum, plastic? Crochet mainly only has straight :D, and I use any type of hook!
Do you own a yarn winder and/or swift? Neither.
How old is your oldest UFO? Crochet wise: 3 years? some of my beginner projects. Cross stitch wise: 5 years.
What is your favorite holiday? What winter holiday do you observe? Favorite holiday is Halloween, and winter holiday is christmas/Yule.
